November, 19 Uhr. Eintritt frei. In ihrer Ausstellung befragt die Künstlerin Iden Sungyoung Kim imperialistische Geschichte und deren Wiederholung. Zwischen politischem Kalkül, wissenschaftlichem Experiment und humaner Katastrophe spannt sie einen historischen Bogen vom Manhattan-Projekt (Hiroshima) bis zum weltweiten Nuklearkonflit. Recherche in Archiven und der Zugriff auf Zeitzeuge lassen ein komplexes Narrativ von Konflikt, Risiko, imperialistischer Geste und dem blinden Glauben an wissenschaftlichen Fortschritt erstehen. Mit der Kernforschung bewegen wir uns auf fragilem, politischem Terrain.
